There are five levels of membership, based on how much  you've spent in the last 12 months. As you move up the levels of membership, Shop 'n' Save gives you more and more reward with everything you buy with us - including Buy Now Pay Later purchases. You could earn up to £15 rewards with every £100 you spend in the Diamond Band!

You can use your Shop 'n' Save rewards to buy whatever you want from Empire Stores. Some exclusions apply, please see terms and conditions below for more details. It's a great way to treat yourself to something special.

Terms & Conditions

Please note, the Shop 'n' Save scheme is closed to new members. For Diamond and Emerald customers this scheme is based on your level of purchases (goods despatched and kept) during the last 12 months. 

If you are an Amber, Sapphire or Ruby customer the cost of all items that are returned in the last 12 month period under review will be taken into account when calculating your total spend, even when the item you are returning was purchased prior to the start of the 12 month period under review.

Your level will be assessed on the 1st April and 1st November 2009 and 1st May and 1st November each year after that. 

Your Shop 'n' Save reward will be at the rate you qualify for at the time of ordering, and is earned on the final statement price charged for goods you buy (net of any discounts or reductions). It will be reduced if the goods are returned.

Your latest statement will show you just how much Shop 'n' Save reward you've earned and will be available for you to use from your second statement (two months after the charge date).

Shop 'n' Save rewards can only be earned on items that are purchased through a credit account. If an item is purchased for cash e.g. using a credit/debit card or other payment card or cheque, such payment will not qualify for Shop 'n' Save rewards. Unless otherwise expressly stated, reduced or specially priced items and items offered for sale in brochures or other non-book publications will not qualify for Shop 'n' Save rewards. 

Shop 'n' Save rewards will not be paid on any product arranged by Shop Direct Finance Company, such as insurance, extended service plans etc. Delivery charges and administration charges will also not earn Shop 'n' Save rewards. 

Shop 'n' Save rewards cannot be used and cashback cannot be claimed if your payments are not up to date.

Any rewards accrued will be forfeited should your account be closed due to your failure to make payments on your account.

You must use Shop 'n' Save rewards within two years. Customers within the Diamond 15% band have an option to exchange Shop 'n' Save rewards for 10% cashback - for every £3 reward claimed you will receive £2 cash. 

Minimum claim for cash is £15 reward, i.e. £10 cash value. Minimum claim for use as an account balance reduction is £3 reward , i.e. £2 against your account balance.
